When other people picture New Jersey they tend to think of congested high ways, the Sopranos, and of course  the Jersey Shore. But, there is a reason NJ is called the Garden State. With over 9,000 farms and 720,000 acres of farm land, we have a bounty of great produce! To showcase some of this season’s goodies is Edible Jersey’s 2017 Eat Drink Local Restaurant Week. From July 21st through the 30th, restaurants from all over the state (full list provided in the link) will prepare seasonal menus, weekly specials, cocktails and more. Its a great way to try out some new places or fall in love with your old stand-by again.  Some localish participants to note: 100 Steps (Cranford), A Tout Heure (Cranford), Arturo’s Osteria & Pizzeria (Maplewood), Enoteca Ursino (Union), Huntley Taverne (Summit), Squirrel & The Bee (Millburn), Trap Rock Restaurant & Brewery (Berkeley Heights).
