One of the coolest things about Cranford last summer was the painted piano in Eastman Plaza (across from Track 5 coffee.) It was hand painted by high school students and was available all summer long for people big or small to sit down and play.  Well I am happy to share that a new piano will be coming to Cranford again this summer.  It is getting painted as we speak and on Saturday, May 12th it will debut with an awesome launch party!

The party will kick things off at 12:30PM with Michael and the Rockness Monsters! You may know Mr. Michael from Preschool of Rock and if you dont come check them out! They are one of the most fun kids bands around! Next up at 4p is local favorite The Lovehandles!  And Joe Regan from Prospect Wine Bar will be closing things out at 7pm.  Its going to be a great day to be in town! Hope to see you all there!

I’d also like to mention that this event is brought to you by the newly formed Cranford Downtown Arts Council! We are a small group working on bringing art and events to downtown Cranford! We will have more updates and news and social media coming soon, so keep a look out!!
