Things to Do and Houses to See!

Whether you live in town or just curious about whats happening in Cranford, here is a quick run down of just some of whats on the books for this weekend…

Saturday is Cranford’s inaugural Porchfest. Porches all over town will become stages for different musical performances! Residents, neighbors, and guests can stroll from porch to porch, listening, singing, dancing, and connecting! Also, on Saturday is the annual Great Pumpkin Carve Out, pumpkin carving contest at Hanson Park.

On Sunday stroll, shop, and eat funnel cakes at the Cranford Street fair. And then at 4pm its time for the Ducky Derby! Over one-thousand individually numbered rubber ducks will be released in the Rahway River at Sperry Park and race to finish line at the North Union Ave Bridge.

And all weekend long the Crane-Phillips House Museum will take part in Union County’s Four Centuries in a WeekendTour the museum and help the Cranford Historical Society celebrate its 90th anniversary! (For other participating historic sites in Union County follow the link above.)

With all the activity going on, its a great weekend for people to see what Cranford has to offer, in terms of events, community and real estate! So, while you are out and about be sure to stop by and visit me at my open house at 320 High Street on Sunday. A charming 4 bedroom, 3 bath colonial with central air and loads of curb appeal! Enjoy your weekend! I’m exhausted just thinking about it!
